The Phoenix Area Robotics EXplorers (parex) competition was today. I pulled a 12 hour marathon session to overhaul my bot, and ended up with something that is 8×9 inches- huge in comparison to the other bots, but small from the angle i am coming from (my primary robotics goal is a beer fetching bot). The thing does in fact turn on, but it does a poor job of driving straight, so it drags along the wall and basically doesn’t work very well. I’m going to shelve the bot itself for now (other projects take priority), but as I get further along i will work on fixing up the platform.
