In which our narrator makes pancakes for dinner, is visited by a ghost of christmas past kevin, and identifies a celebrity.
I read this post on making custom pancakes, and decided to try it out myself. The batter was initially a bit too dry, and then the pan was a bit too hot, so although the end result tasted fine, I did not achieve quite the effect I was shooting for. Oh well- for next time.
Kevin came to visit on Friday (he was in the area for work), so we got to hang out for a bit. Also, he brought me an awesome present, its a device that looks like a flashlight except it projects a picture of Tux the Penguin! He could probably sell 1000′s of them. We are planning a trip to Zion National Park (and possibly the grandest of Grand Canyons) later this year, which should be awesome.
Finally, I was all up at the MC Frontalot concert in Tucson, and I ran into Dorothy Gambrell and Mr. Chen of catandgirl fame! I know this because they slipped up and posted one picture of him in their travel pictures. I was pretty giddy and I probably didn’t make much sense to them, but they were very nice. They suggested that I move to Tucson. It sounded like a good idea.
Either that’s a funnel… or you’re drinking pancake batter out of a martini glass.
The sad truth is, one can not be sure…
Thats beer, not pancake mix, and those are (half) yard glasses!
That new banner pic is awesome!
Thanks!
